Orange Donut Lamp

A sculptural donut of warm orange light. The ring shape makes it as much an object as a lamp, and the soft amber glow suits a bedroom, living room, desk or shelf where overhead lighting feels too harsh. Touch the silver control in the center to turn it on and adjust the brightness, from a dim background glow to a brighter orange light, with no switch or cable to look for. A slot on the back lets you hang it on the wall, so the same lamp works on a table one week and as wall decor the next, which is handy in a dorm room or a small apartment.

The lamp is cordless and rechargeable: a full charge takes about four hours and gives roughly seven hours of use, and the indicator glows red while charging and green when it is full. It may arrive partly discharged after shipping, so charge it before the first use. For continuous light you can simply leave it plugged in while it runs, which makes it useful as a steady bedside or desk light too.
